Construction Notes // Callie & Marie both made by me!!! (Head diddles made by TATTO!!) Callie // patterned a romper with princess seams, invisible zip up the side. Fabric was a sequined mesh fabric i found in the LA garment district, lined in black cotton sateen! leggings, front details shoe details etc made from a glittery spandex! Three little diddles on the front are interfaced & appliqued on using Metallic thread! The leggings are just basic leggings (tutorial on my deviant art!), shoes were cut down from knee high boots, painted black, lined with black fabric, details hot glued on! The tentacles are made from vinyl and a white glittery fabric i thought was cool, lined in fleece and batting shoved in by skye for extra puff! The tentacles attach to a headband with wire worn under the wig! Skye also painted the tentacles to be all cute & glittery!! Details on the backs of the romper/dress sewn on by machine/hand. Callie / TATTO patterned a 4 piece princess seam aline dress, made similarly to the romper, i sewed it and also put a wire on the seam allowance at the bottom of the dress so it would flare out more. The grommets in the back of the dress were put in by skye! We bought our elf ears & earrings from amazon! Gloves bought from daiso japan, collars made from twill, close with hooks & eyes.

Personal Notes // I sunk a ton of hours into splatoon and LOVE these squid sisters, I was so happy to cosplay them with Skye even though we were both pretty wrecked up when we wore them at animeEXPO.
